Hi, I'm Rory Ferguson, a Scottish/Dutch freelance filmmaker based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. With a Bachelor's degree in Arts specializing in all-round filmmaking, I've developed a broad understanding of the filmmaking process from concept to final delivery.
Over the years, I've worked across a wide range of productions, taking on diverse creative and technical roles. While I'm experienced throughout the production pipeline, my strongest skills lie in video editing, writing, cinematography, and directing. I enjoy shaping ideas into compelling visual stories, whether that's through carefully crafted edits, thoughtful scripts, or capturing meaningful moments behind the camera.
What drives my work is a passion for storytelling. I believe that every project has the potential to reveal something about the people, ideas, and world around us. My goal is to create films that not only engage audiences but also foster understanding, curiosity, and connection.
For me, filmmaking is more than a profession, it's a way of exploring the world through stories worth telling.
